Most registrations on a purchasing platform happen at the wrong moment: when something is needed, and needed now.

Having the account ready also changes how you use the platform in the following months. You can look at the catalogue when you happen to have a moment, save what interests you, get a sense of prices without having to decide anything.

That period of looking without buying is what turns the first order into an informed choice rather than a leap in the dark, and it costs nothing.

In practice: register when you do not need it, fill in the details calmly, check your VIES status, and then forget about it. When the moment comes where you really do need something by tomorrow, the only thing left to do will be choosing the product.
